<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We shared this <a href="">Green Tea Facial Toner</a> recipe, that would be the first step when you’re following a Skincare routine: always clean and use toner before applying any masks or scrubs. </span></p>
<h2><strong>Carefully Scrub!</strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s important to not forget that the skin cells have a natural regeneration process between 21-28 days. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When the cells are born they have a large percentage of water and they&#8217;ll lose it as time passes until they become dead cells, so when you notice your skin dull or dry, it is because those dead cells are still there and they need extra help to be removed. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">And how do we remove those dead cells? Exfoliating our skin! </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Be gentle on your skin, exfoliation can damage your skin if it isn&#8217;t done carefully. You can try making small circular movements with your fingers. If you use a brush, make small and light strokes. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can exfoliate your skin for 30 seconds and then rinse off with warm water, and now, my personal recommendation is to use a moisturizer after exfoliation, preferably, one with SPF. </span></p>
<h2><b>Now, let’s make this awesome Green Tea Facial &amp; Body Scrub!</b></h2>
<h5><b>You’ll need:</b></h5>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 cup and 1/2 of sugar can be white or brown. (I got it organic in the supermarket)</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1/2 cup coconut oil</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 tbsp honey</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">4 green tea bags</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A glass storage container with a lid</span></li>

<h5><b>Instructions: </b></h5>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mix all the ingredients in your glass container and that’s it! Try to mix them well, and as an option, you can add two drops of any essential oil (if you have one, you can use lavender or eucalyptus oil) and enjoy your flawless skin!</span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">So I woke up this morning and realized it’s Thanksgiving. My friend, Leslie, invited me to a potluck dinner at her house with some of our friends and I completely forgot about it! </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Everybody will have food and gifts to share and I have nothing, I need to figure out what should I bring and share with the people that I really care about. Thanksgiving is a really special day for me (yes, I know it doesn’t seem like that but it is. In my defense, I have a really bad memory and I never know what date is) so I need to do something special, something not too difficult and that it won’t take me so much time. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">People love food, I think sharing foods and drinks is so amazing, it is the perfect formula to have your loving ones happy and that’s why Thanksgiving is so unique. You’re surrounded by your loving ones, grateful for their lives and the moment. </span></p>
<h2>Yes, I won’t miss Thanksgiving tonight at Leslie’s, so let’s get the balls rolling!</h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I have 8 hours in total to cook, to get dressed, to do <a href="https://www.dinemagazine.com/5-cruelty-free-beauty-brands-you-should-know-about/">my makeup</a> and my hair. So definitely, I will do something easy, and you’ll see that if you try these thanksgiving recipes at home, your loving ones will love you even more!</span></p>
<h3><b>The first recipe, we’re going to do Peas in Blankets: </b></h3>
<p><strong>You’ll need: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">½ tbsp veg oil</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 small onion</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">12 cherry tomatoes</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 cups of frozen peas</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 generous handful of mint</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 cup of breadcrumbs</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">8 rashes of unsmoked bacon</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Salt &amp; pepper for seasoning</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Instructions:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Go and preheat the oven to 180°c. Dice onion and fry onion in oil until soft. Add the tomatoes and cook for 2mins, keep stirring. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Add the peas and stir for 2mins and season with salt and pepper, take off the heat and put into a blender and blend. Fold in the breadcrumbs, put one heaped tbsp of the mixture on the bacon and roll. Place in an ovenproof dish and bake for 40mins.</span></p>

<h3><b>Second, Sweet Potato &amp; Crunchy Peanut Butter Gratain:</b></h3>
<p><strong>You’ll need: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">6 medium sweet potatoes (about 1.5 kg), washed and scrubbed</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">4 cloves garlic, finely chopped</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 bunch coriander, stalks finely chopped and leaves separated</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 red chilies, de-seeded and finely sliced</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">300g crème fraîche</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">3 heaped tbsps </span><a href="http://shop.wholeearthfoods.com/products/whole-earth-crunchy-peanut-butter-454-g"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Whole Earth Crunchy Peanut Butter</span></a></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Salt and pepper</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Neutral oil, for greasing</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Instructions:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Preheat the oven to 220C. Use a mandolin or a really sharp knife and excellent knife skills to slice the sweet potato into 1/2 cm rounds.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mix the sweet potato in a large bowl with the coriander stalks, red chilies and season well with salt &amp; pepper.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Roughly chop the coriander leaves and set half aside for later. Then, in a small mixing bowl, combine the reserved coriander with the crème fraîche and peanut butter. Stir the crème fraîche mixture through the sweet potatoes until evenly combined.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lightly grease a 20 x 30cm gratin dish or deep roasting tray with oil and arrange the slices of sweet potato in neat rows to fill the tray and cover it tightly with foil and place in the oven for 30 minutes.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">After this time, discard the foil and return the gratin to the oven for 25 minutes until the sweet potatoes are completely soft and beginning to char at the edges. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before sprinkling over the remaining coriander.</span></p>

<h3><b>Last but not least, dessert! Apricot Coconut Balls</b></h3>

<p><strong>You’ll need: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 ½ cups dried apricot</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 cup almond meal</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 cups desiccated coconut</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 cups unsalted roasted cashews</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">½ cup rolled oats</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 tbsp white chia seeds</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">¼ cup coconut yoghurt</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 tbsp finely grated orange rind</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 tbsp vanilla extract </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 tbsp lemon juice</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 tbsp rice bran syrup </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Instructions:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mix all the ingredients until the mixture clumps together and starts to clean the sides of the bowl. Shape the mixture into balls, roll in ⅓ cup extra desiccated coconut to coat. Place on a tray and cover. Refrigerate for one hour and transfer to an airtight container and now I’m ready!</span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you’re a Better Call Saul fan, I know you’re as excited as me. Finally, after more than a year, season 5 is already in its way! </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">And surely, like me, the waiting was too long and probably we both grumble about it but we all know the reason why: <a href="https://www.netflix.com/title/81078819" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">El Camino</a>. </span></p>
<h4><span style="font-weight: 400;">Parenthesis</span></h4>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I’m gonna take the chance to share my feelings about it and I’m gonna say it straight forward, it didn’t catch me, even when I’ve always felt empathy for Jesse Pinkman and I always wanted to see closure, at some point I got bored. But well, at least Jesse is ok now, and that’s all it matters, haha.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Back to the topic, Better Call Saul. In its brief teaser looks like we are going to see a Saul Goodman closer to the Breaking Bad timeline and I can’t wait.</span></p>

<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">I think it’s a great chance for a recap. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let’s take a quick look:</span></h3>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Saul&#8217;s real name is Jimmy McGill, he has an older brother, Chuck, who is an excellent lawyer but has this condition called by himself “Electromagnetic hypersensitivity”. He’s a main partner of HHM, a lawyer buffet and he’s one of the reasons why Jimmy decided to study laws. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jimmy has a past. He used to be “Slipping Jimmy” as he’s a master in swindling people, so Chuck never trusts Jimmy. Meanwhile, Jimmy tried to show Chuck he can be a great lawyer but his moves were perfectly calculated which didn’t surprise Chuck.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">After several events, Chuck didn’t want Kim (a lawyer from HHM who was a story with Jimmy) to lead a case and Jimmy manipulated some documents making Chuck wrong about the case. Chuck discovered what Jimmy did, he went to court with enough pieces of evidence and Jimmy was suspended for practicing laws for one year. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the meantime, el Cartel was lead for the Salamancas and Gus Fring (yes, all of them from Breaking Bad) so they have an enmity because Gus has more control transporting drugs. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mike, also from Breaking Bad, is working with Gus and he connects with El Madrigal, the owners of Los Pollos Hermanos. On the other hand, Nacho changes the pills Hector Salamanca needs to take cause him serious damage on his brain. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Back to Jimmy, he needed to find a job as he and Kim rent their own space but he’s unable to practice laws. So he decided to be “Slipping Jimmy” again and sell blocked cell phones to local dealers. </span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Chuck was having a really hard time with everybody, meaning Jimmy, Kim and his partner Howard Hamlin, as in the court Jimmy show evidence that the condition that Chuck suffers is only in his mind. He put a charged cell phone on his suit and never felt any symptom. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Chuck decided to suicide but he made it look like an accident by firing his house with a gas lamp. </span><time style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 17px;" datetime="2019-08-29T17:00:18+00:00"></time></li>

<h3>So, Season Five!</h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The fourth season concluded with a Jim very affected by the death of his brother, Mike hired by El Madrigal and an attempt on the life of Hector Salamanca that ended up leaving him in very bad health, almost like when we met him in the original series. Thus, the bases are laid so that the audience gets closer and closer to the Breaking bad timeline.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Originally released in 2015, the series was gaining in history and was increasingly resembling the production with which Vince Gilligan originally fascinated us. The series features several of the original Breaking bad characters, such as Héctor Salamanca, Nacho, Gustavo Fring and Mike, to name a few.</span></p>

<h3><b>Let’s go over Quinoa</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Most of the time people don’t know what to answer when they ask “is it a grain or a seed?” and the answer is that it’s a seed that has become progressively popular among people as <a href="https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/11-proven-benefits-of-quinoa" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">it has a great number of nutrients and it’s gluten-free.</a></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Also, quinoa is high in fiber compared with other plant foods and as you may know, fiber is incredibly important for our health, it helps the foods to end up in your colon, where it feeds friendly guts bacteria, which lead to various health benefits. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But back to the topic, there are <a href="https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/essential-amino-acids" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">nine amino acids called “essentials”</a>, our body doesn’t produce them by itself, but if you eat foods with all nine essential amino acids, you’re consuming complete protein. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Quinoa contains sufficient amount of essential amino acids which make it a great source of protein and it’s a great option for vegetarian or vegan people, it’s just a matter of being creative and combine it with other foods, it’s so yummy!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Normally, people consume quinoa in savoury dishes but I want you to try this sweet porridge that will lead a great start on your day. </span></p>
<h3><b>You’ll need:</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span></h3>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Cooked Quinoa. (You prepare quinoa as rice, for 1 cup of quinoa, two of water. I don’t add salt or oil so its flavour remains neutral. I recommend to wash quinoa before cooking)</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vegetable Milk</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Almond butter</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fruits</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Cinnamon (optional)</span></li>
</ul>
<h3><b>Instructions:</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Put in a pot 1/2 cup of vegetable milk, coconut or almonds and add 1/3 cup of cooked quinoa. Let it heat approximately 1 min. Then add your fruits, whatever you have in your fridge, I chose strawberries and added some pumpkin seeds that I had, and finally, add the almond butter.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Green tea has many benefits for your body, and I love to drink it. Typically, I take it in the morning because <a href="https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/top-10-evidence-based-health-benefits-of-green-tea#section3">it is the perfect stimulant my metabolism needs</a>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">They say green tea is the most excellent beverage on the planet. It&#8217;s full of antioxidants and nutrients that have powerful effects on our bodies.</span></p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Let&#8217;s take a more in-depth look:</h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will know that an antioxidant is a molecule capable of retarding or preventing the oxidation of other molecules. On the other hand, oxidation is produced by transferring electrons from certain substances to oxidizing agents, so that&#8217;s why consuming foods rich in antioxidants is so essential for our body.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now, when we are aware of how our body works and what is best for it, the healthy options always come in will be Green Tea. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Yes, I know I&#8217;ve said that it has many benefits, so let&#8217;s name them one by one. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">1. Antioxidants can help reduce the risk of cancer, such as breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and prostate. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">And, an important tip, don&#8217;t add milk to your tea. It can lower the antioxidants value that green tea has. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">2. It helps with your brain health, and not only with its functioning, but it also protects your brain in old age. <a href="https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/top-10-evidence-based-health-benefits-of-green-tea#section5">Studies have shown</a> that compounds in Green Tea have protective effects that help reduce the risk of Alzheimer&#8217;s or Parkinson&#8217;s, the two most common neurodegenerative disorders.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">3. Green tea may reduce the risk of Type 2 Diabetes. This disease involves elevated blood sugar levels. Studies have shown that Green Tea drinkers had <a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20008687">an 18% lower risk of becoming diabetics</a> due to Green Tea can reduce blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">4. It has bioactive compounds. It has polyphenols that help reduce inflammation in our bodies. Also, it has an antioxidant called EGCG that helps prevent cell damage, and it&#8217;s of the primary antioxidants that Green Tea has. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">5. Green tea has less caffeine than coffee, but it&#8217;s enough to affect. It has the amino acid</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">L-theanine that helps to improve our brain function. </span></p>
