Vegan Takeouts: Chia Pudding

Looking for an easy, vegan and nutritious recipe for those cravings between meals? Chia pudding is excellent for this.

Chia seeds are full of vitamins, minerals and fatty acids that complete the nutrition perfectly, they also give you a lot of energy, which makes them ideal for breakfast or for those snacks at the end of the afternoon when we are already a little tired of the activities of the day.

Ingredients:

½ cup almonds

½ cup chia seeds

1 cup oatmeal

2 cups almond milk

 

  • Put the almond milk on a jar and add the chia seeds, stir it and then let the seeds soak in the milk for at least one hour.
  • Then, add the oatmeal and the almonds to the jar, put some chopped fruits to add flavor and sweetness.

You can prepare this Chia pudding the night before to have a delicious breakfast, have it in the fridge to have a nutritious and healthy snack on hand or take it to work or for a walk.

Also, you can substitute almond milk for any other vegetable milk or add other flavors such as nuts, dates, blueberries or dark chocolate.
