When the cold weather hits, we all experience some discomfort, especially when it comes to our skin. Generally, I’ll get a scalp rash or eczema on my arms and feel itchy all over. Being cozy over the winter is also an essential. Lucky for us, Province Apothecary has many products that help us relax and prioritize our self care this winter.

The Spring Fever Event

I first came across Province Apothecary‘s products at the Home for the Holidays & Spring Fever event at the Erin Tracy Showroom. At this event, there were many incredible brands and companies like Erin Tracy’s Bridal and Fine Jewelry, All You Are Robes, and Extension Method (to name a few). I noticed many people gravitating towards the Province Apothecary table, and I could see why. Their products not only look amazing, but they are made from all-natural sources. Plus, the products themselves are effective while still remaining natural.

About Province Apothecary

Province Apothecary was started by Julie Clark, an allergies and eczema sufferer who wanted to create natural products for people with similar conditions. She started making organic beauty products out of her kitchen, despite a busy schedule as a costume designer and stylist. During her spare time, Clark experimented with different oils, waxes and herbs to create the ultimate skin care regime. To further enhance her education, she studied Aromatherapy, Holistic Health and Esthetics in Toronto. That’s where she was able to form the foundation of her skincare knowledge, and be able to play with different materials and ingredients to find the perfect formula.

Product Reviews

After the Spring Fever event, I was able to test out the Full Brow Serum. Honestly, I didn’t even know my eyebrows needed a serum but now I can’t live without it. My brows have never felt better. I knew I needed to try more products from Province Apothecary. They are honestly life changing.

Black Spruce + Fir Balsam Essential Oil Incense & Horizon Brass Incense Holder

I personally love when incense smells like a walk through a forest (maybe it’s my Pacific Northwest blood). The unique scent of Black Spruce and Fir Balsam makes our house smell like a luxurious log cabin.

Repairing and Conditioning Lip Balm

My lips are chronically chapped (dehydrated, much?) Some lip balms can even make my lips feel worse or cause a burning sensation. This lip balm is smooth and moisturizing and is now my go-to lip chap. Repairing and conditioning, indeed!

Healing Eczema Balm

At the Spring Fever event, I found out that Clark had been working to make the eczema balm meet FDA Approval. She had been working on the formula for five years! I must say, the balm is perfection. The Colloidal Oatmeal is very soothing on the skin and the texture of the balm is oh so smooth. My skin has never felt better and the scent is mild but pleasant.

Calm Down Wellness Roll-On

After I went to an intense Tabata class the other night, this roll-on was a miracle for my sore shoulders and neck. Also, a little chamomile never hurt anyone.
