PINK MARKET gives LGBTQI+ creators from all over Canada a place to sell and showcase their work. In case you missed it last year, now’s your chance to check out local queer artists. PINK MARKET’s fourth PINK XMAS market will take place on December 8 and 9 at the 519 Community Centre, a charitable organization and community space dedicated to inclusion, acceptance, and awareness of queer rights in Toronto and elsewhere.
On December 9th, Handlebar will be showing a free screening of arguably the worst Christmas movie of all-time: Santa with Muscles. The movie, starring Hulk Hogan as a jacked Santa, may just be the hate-watch you’re looking for this holiday season. While you may enjoy other Christmas movies, why not have a good laugh at the expense of this cinematic disaster?
We’d be remiss not to mention the Toronto Christmas Market. Taking place from November 15-December 23 at the Distillery Historic District, there is a ton of vendors, food, activities, and entertainment to check out.

This Christmas market meets winter carnival is a popular Toronto holiday event. Located in Nathan Phillips Square, the fair runs from December 1st-23rd. Also, you can expect to find shopping, skating, rides, games, seasonal food, and a wine bar.
On December 8th, Toronto’s queer community will be hosting an inclusive dance party at the Glad Day Bookshop. All are welcome and it costs $5 or PWYC – no one will be turned away for lack of funds. In addition, the event has a wheelchair accessible entrance and bathroom, as well as a gender neutral washroom.
