Cannabis-infused drinks are all the fuss, but can they really help with stress and anxiety? We’ll get there in a minute but first things first, what exactly are cannabis-infused drinks or beverages?

What Are Cannabis-Infused Drinks?

For the sake of those who don’t know much about cannabis-infused drinks, here’s a quick explanation – cannabis-infused drinks are drinks or beverages that contain cannabidiol(CBD) or Tetrahydrocannabinol(THC), or both. The two, CBD and THC, are, in fact, just two of the hundreds of compounds present in marijuana.

Will cannabis-infused drinks get you high?

CBD (cannabidiol) contains a very tiny amount of the primary ingredient in marijuana that gets one high(less than 0.1%). Consequently, a CBD-infused drink or beverage is highly unlikely to get you high, and neither is the compound addictive.

One the other hand, THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary ingredient in the marijuana plant that gets one high, so a THC-infused drink or beverage will definitely get you high.

Let’s get started with our recipes, but just in case you are wondering if cannabis really does help with stress and anxiety, let’s see.

Do Cannabis-Infused Drinks Help Relieve Stress and Anxiety?

Various studies in both humans and animals prove CBD to be quite effective as a stress and anxiety reliever, so yes, CBD-infused drinks or beverages are believed to actually help relieve stress and anxiety.

What about THC-infused drinks? Studies show that when taken in low doses, THC too can help with stress and anxiety. Of course, if you don’t wish to get high, you are better off with CBD-infused drinks. Another risk that comes with THC is that the substance has been associated with psychological dependence, meaning THC-infused drinks can actually be addictive.

This shows just how widely popular these drinks have become and their stress and anxiety-relieving capabilities are actually believed to be the reason behind their current attractiveness.

Bonus Tips:

Use a naturally-derived, broad-spectrum CBD oil as it will give you all the benefits of the marijuana plant minus the THC. If you find it a bit difficult to find the oil in your locality, these oils are available online and can be shipped to any state.

CBD doesn’t have an officially-recommended serving or dosage. Your proper dosage will depend on various factors such as body weight and oil concentration percentage. The best thing, especially for beginners, is to start small and work your way up gradually based on the effectiveness of your drink.

Naturally, if you have a medical condition or are currently under medication, we advise you to speak with a medical professional before trying out our cannabis-infused drink recipes for stress and anxiety.
